  13. I've just gone and installed the Emplant MacPro V1.2 software, and, joy of
  14. joys, the RetinaZ3Video driver (the one that allows you to select video
  15. modes for the control panel in up to 24bit) works!  This bit is good!
  16.  
  17. However, I do not get the range of colour depths and resolutions I'd expect.
  18. Currently I can choose between:
  19.  
  20.     - 640x480 in 256, Thousands, and Millions of colours
  21.     - 1024x768 in 256 colours
  22.     - 1280x1024 in 256 colours
  23.  
  24. Has anyone else managed to get any other modes?  I would expect to also be
  25. able get:

  27.     - 800x600 in 256, Thousands, and Millions of colours
  28.     - 1024x768 in Thousands, (and possibly Millions) of colours
  29.     - 1152x862 in 256 and Thousands colours
  30.     - 1280x1024 in Thousands of colours
  31.     - 1600x1200 in 256 colours

  33. Now I know several of these modes would have to be interlaced, but I can use
  34. them on my Amiga, and the appear in group files within the Retina Monitor
  35. definitions... so should be available for the Emulation.  All the "direct
  36. draw" modes (the ones that give a fixed screen resolution in 256 colours,
  37. such as `RetinaZ3_1024x768' etc. work fine).

  39. Any suggestions, experiences, of commentary on the above would be gratefully
  40. appreciated!
